“For 750 million people around the world, purified water is a luxury. Women and young girls in low-income countries walk about 3.7 miles each day to collect water – a total of 40 billion hours a year. Every year poor children miss nearly 440 million school days because of water scarcity.”
I
want this world with adequate water so that no one has to die in thirst and no
one has to be deprived from getting benefited from water resource sector. Because
every household needs water to drink, cook, bath, wash; every farmer needs water
to irrigate; every sailor needs water to transport; every businessman needs water
to operate industry; every nation needs water to generated electricity, etc. We all are closely associated with water in our daily life. A person can live for
about a month without food, but only about a week without water. These are the
facts that acts as my source
of inspiration to work in water resource sector.
In my college days I was engrossed in
blogging and as a consequences I started writing from the beginning of 2010.
The purpose of blogging was different at that time. I used to put casual
materials in my blog (traces are still remaining). After completing my college
degree I stopped writing and putting materials in it. I checked it several
times but never thought of continuing it. But that passive thought did not last
longer. One day when I was searching for the list of water related industry
something clicked on my mind and it happens!!!! After that day I started
planning for writing purposeful blog. It did not take long time for me to choose
name and matters for my blog. This blog is the result of my constant dedication
in the water resource sector and I wish I could continue it till the end.
This
blog is all about water and water resource sector. I want to make this blog
resourceful so that everybody could get some sort of information inside it when
needed. Neither I can distribute water to the Africa, nor I can give big budget
to install pipeline to the Asia what I can do is to present the facts to the
people and disseminates the information in word through this blog. This is my
little steps to fight for water crisis.
